What a week we had at the Bundeschampionat (German championships for young horses) in Warendorf.
The highlight was Caillan becoming Bundeschampion for 7-year-olds after winning Saturday’s final that went as a S**-class with jump-off. Caillan qualified for the final after finishing 4th in Thursday’s qualification.
EIC Courino took the 8th place in the final for the 6-year-olds that was ridden over an M**-class with jump-off. In Wednesday’s qualification Rolf and EIC Courino ended 3rd after receiving a score of 8.5.
Also among the 5-year-olds, we had success. This time it was Davis 17 – ridden by Thibaut – that took the 10th place in the final that went as a M*-class over two rounds. Davis 17 received the score of 8.8 and 8.7 in the two final rounds. In Thursday’s qualification, Davis ended 4th.
Catch competed in the classes for 8-year-olds and older. He ended 3rd in the qualification and finished in the runner-up position in Friday’s Grand Prix!
