Caillan world champion among the 7-year-olds - Davis 5th in the world by the 5-year-olds

Sept. 26, 2022, 6:38 a.m. – back to all news

Once again, Caillan impressed when he won his third title of this year – claiming the gold medal at the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Championship at Zangersheide in Lanaken, Belgium. Earlier this year, Caillan won the ‘Landeschampionat’ in Holstein, then continued with a victory at the Bundeschampionat – the German Championship for young horses  and on Sunday he was crowned the best 7-year-old in the world. A huge congratulation to breeder and owner Gerd Ohlsen!

Davis 17 went clear all through the championship for the 5-year-olds and finished 5th
in the final ridden by Thibaut Huyvaert. Congratulation to Timm Peters for breeding such a fantastic horse!

Also EIC Courino did two great rounds and ended 6th in the second qualifier. However, four faults in the first round stopped him
from qualifing for the final.
